CivicLens AI is an online policy analysis tool that helps users understand possible impacts, tradeoffs, and stakeholder effects of public policies.
We may collect your email address when you create an account. We may also collect policy text, prompts, or other information you enter into the tool so the service can generate analysis results.
We use your information to provide the CivicLens AI service, manage account access, enforce usage limits, process payments and manage supporter access, improve the product, and prevent abuse.
Payments are processed by Stripe. CivicLens AI does not store your full credit card number. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own policies.
Policy text and related prompts may be sent to AI service providers to generate analysis. CivicLens AI uses AI-generated outputs to provide informational drafts and first-pass policy analysis.
Do not submit confidential, classified, legally privileged, medical, financial, personal, private, or highly sensitive information. CivicLens AI is intended for public or non-sensitive policy text.
We may process policy text, report titles, jurisdiction details, and generated outputs to provide the service, troubleshoot errors, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability. AI-generated reports may miss context or contain errors, so users should verify important claims before relying on or sharing a report.
We may retain account, usage, and payment-related records as needed to operate the service, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account information, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.
